America's Navy is a force as relevant today as it's been historically significan for the last 238 years. The times may change, the threats may become more obscure, the complex nature of 21st century life may make the demand for such presence less obvious. However, now more than ever, the Navy is something to be aware of Something to be thankful for. Something to be proud of.

As yesterday's defenders of freedom, we want to welcome today's military service members into our ranks to become part of our elite group.  Our common bond is the battlefield, whether it is service in the Persian Gulf, Korea, Kosovo, the war on terrorism or peace-keeping expeditionary campaigns. Your courage and sacrifice have made a difference in preserving and defending world peace.

It is my honor to serve as Commander of VFW Post 9192. As we move forward together, I want to reaffirm our shared commitment to the values that define this post: integrity, discipline, service, and camaraderie.

Our mission is clear:

To uphold the legacy of our nation’s veterans by providing unwavering support to those who served, their families, and our community. We strive to preserve the dignity of our comrades through advocacy, outreach, and fellowship, while ensuring that our post remains a beacon of operational excellence and principled leadership.

Our vision is bold:

To be a driving force within District 14—where complacency is challenged, initiative is rewarded, and every member is empowered to lead. We aim to set the standard for accountability, innovation, and community impact, guided by the legacy of those who served and the responsibility of those who lead.

This post will not rest on tradition alone. We will be proactive in our outreach, disciplined in our operations, and relentless in our pursuit of excellence. I ask each of you to join me in this effort—not just as members, but as stewards of a legacy that demands our best.
